Jenn Fiendish, CVT, VTS (Behavior)
Since 1992 Jenn has enjoyed the many different roles she has had in the veterinary industry including general practice, emergency medicine, and even teaching. In 2012, Jenn left general practice to pursue her passion of animal training and behavior by accepting a position working alongside Dr. Chris Pachel of the Animal Behavior Clinic. In July 2014, after years of preparation and hard work, she was awarded the title Veterinary Technician Specialist (Behavior) by the Academy of Veterinary Behavior Technicians.
Jenn has been a member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians since 2009. She’s served on the Continuing Education Committee since 2011 and is the current Chairperson. She is also the SVBT Oregon state representative, a position she has held since 2011. Her involvement with the organization has allowed her to network with other veterinary technicians interested in behavior and has opened many opportunities for her to learn new techniques and teach others.
She hopes that her continued involvement with the SVBT will allow her to help the Society continue to grow and serve the veterinary community for years to come.
In her free time, Jenn spends many hours at the barn and is an avid crafter and crocheter. Her ‘pack’ includes three hairless dogs, two horses, a snake, and one very patient husband.
