Gayle DiMenna, CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, LVT
Gayle graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University in 1999. Since then, she has been employed as a technician supervisor, practice manager and veterinary technician instructor. However, her passion lies within behavior to create, enhance and restore the human animal bond. She wants owners to truly enjoy their pets and pets to get the overall care they deserve.
Wanting to further her behavior experiences, Gayle created her own opportunities by starting Pawsitive DiMensions, LLC; a pet training and behavior education business. She works with individual clients and small groups teaching basic pet communication and training skills, foundation behaviors as well as behavior modification techniques for dogs, cats and small mammals. Her favorite moment is when the client and pet start to truly communicate.
She is also able to utilize her behavior and technical skills as a veterinary technician at local veterinary hospitals helping them embrace the idea of incorporating behavior into their practice. She completed Dr. Yin’s Low Stress Handling Certified Silver program and strives to make veterinary visits and husbandry care a better experience for pets and their owners through reduction of pet fear and teaching cooperative care.
Gayle is pursuing a specialty in behavior and values continuing education to advance her skills as a technician, trainer and teacher.
